Job Summary

Software Engineer Remote

We are looking for a motivated Software Engineer with strong technical skills a collaborative work ethic and teamwork spirit.

Responsibilities

Design software solutions to meet business specifications
Produce maintainable software components that operate as part of a large multi-process system
Unit test software components to verify behavior and resilience
Perform functional testing of the system on a full installation that replicatesreal-worlduse
Review and constructively comment on the software testinganddocumentation of peers
Help peers by sharing expertise in your primary development area
Apply technical expertise to investigate and resolve customer software issues
Work independently and in close collaboration with team members

Requirements

Bachelors and/or Masters degree in Computer Science Computer Engineering or related technical discipline
3 years of professional software development experience
Working experience in Java/J2EE technologies preferably with Spring JPA/Hibernate frameworks
Good knowledge of client-server architecture and web services (SOAP/REST)
Good knowledge of SQL and/or previous experience with a DBMS
Knowledge of professional software engineering and best practices for the full software development life cycle including coding standards code reviews source control management build processes testing and operations
Strongproblem-solvingskills
Clear accurate and concise written and verbal communication skills
Desire to build a career in software development
