Job Description
We are looking for a Packing Machine Engineer/Setter to be based on our clients site in Wellingborough.
This is a great opportunity to join a very skilled team who have achieved BRCGS AA grade certification. The Packing Machine Engineer/Setter will maintain the engineering of the machines along with setting it up ready to run different products.
You will work with a range of Packing machines. The current shift is Monday to Friday 08.30am-17.30pm but you would be required to be flexible to meet the needs of the business.
This company operate a fast-paced work environment with high standards. They always aim to promote excellent teamwork and support to one another.
Responsibilities
- To ensure the machine is set to optimise performance
- To ensure the relevant maintenance is completed on each machine
- Forward plan to minimise set-up time and maximise production
- Comply with Company policies including H&S and quality and BRCGS protocol
- Ensure daily schedules are met
- Ensure continuous stock is available to the CoPackers and support with the Co-pack outputs.
- Complete necessary documentation
- Carry out any necessary repairs
Skills & Requirements
- An engineering background/experience is a must
- An excellent team working ethic
- Diligent and attentive to detail
- A pro-active problem-solving approach
