CERTIFIED DEALER INSTRUCTOR RESPONSIBILITIES
You lead certified courses teaching in-house technicians and external students about John Deere products and machinery. To get started you brush up on your agricultural industry knowledge and become certified in John Deere training courses. You create a welcoming environment where students can learn and ensure you have all the proper materials equipment and vehicles before starting your course. As you instruct others and safely lead demonstrations you record student progress and track course attendance. You keep up-to-date with the latest equipment knowledge and participate in additional training programs as needed. You clean your work area tear down the classroom when youre done and take pride in teaching others to succeed!

REQUIREMENTS
- Forklift man lift and loader operator certification
- 5 years of experience performing service repairs
- Experience with the mechanical electrical and hydraulic systems in off-road construction lawn care or heavy equipment
- Experience operating vehicles tools and equipment for training purposes
- Computer proficiency and ability to use one for extended periods
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Problem-solving skills resourcefulness and organizational abilities
- Ability to regularly climb bend stand on concrete and lift 75 pounds
BONUS CRITERIA
- Experience with a computer-based diagnostic repair tool like Service ADVISOR
- Bachelors degree in a field like engineering or agri-business
- Proven track record of consistently meeting performance metrics
