EquipmentFieldMechanicResponsibilitiesandQualifications:

• Diagnoseandrepairheavyandlightconstructionequipmentinthefieldincludingloadersexcavatorsskidsteerstelehandlersandtrucks
• Performpreventativemaintenanceandinspectionstominimizedowntime
• Troubleshootmechanicalhydraulicandelectricalissuesusingproperdiagnostictools
• Communicateeffectivelywithsuperintendentsandshoppersonnelregardingequipmentstatusandneeds
• Completeservicereportsandmaintainaccuratedocumentationofworkperformed
• Ensuresafeworkpracticesandmaintainacleanandorganizedservicetruckandworkarea
• Musthaveavaliddriverslicenseandacceptabledrivingrecord
• CDLpreferredbutnotrequired

EquipmentFieldMechanicPreferredQualifications:

• Previousexperienceasaheavyequipmentmechanicfieldtechnicianorsimilarrole
• Strongmechanicalknowledgeincludinghydraulicselectricalsystemsdieselenginesandwelding/fabricationskills
• Abilitytoreadandinterprettechnicalmanualsschematicsanddiagnosticsoftware
• Excellentproblem-solvingskillsandtheabilitytoworkindependentlywithminimalsupervision

PhysicalRequirements:

• Mustbeabletolift50poundsorgreateroccasionallyand25-50poundsfrequently
• Mustbeabletoworkoutdoorsandstandformajorityoftheday
• Mustbeabletoperformtaskswhilewalkingclimbingbendingkneelingcrouchingreachingandhandling
