*Candidates must be located in the Tri-State area and willing to travel as needed to support client relationships.

Position Overview

The EVP Managing Director will serve as the senior leader within BGB Account Services ensuring alignment with BGBs standards while driving growth market success and collaboration across client and internal teams and geographies.

  • The EVP Managing Director is the senior Account team leader overseeing BGB Groups Account Services team. Responsible for establishing and maintaining client/agency strategic partnerships the EVP Managing Director provides ongoing strategic oversight of their assigned accounts as well as maintain agency business practices and financial standards across BGB Group
  • The EVP Managing Director will drive team performance and development quality work execution client satisfaction and agency growth
  • The EVP Managing Director must have a proven track record with years of experience of not only independent execution at the SVP/EVP responsibilities but must also demonstrate the ability to successfully onboard train and coach others in the Account department
  • The EVP/Managing Director is expected to bring a growth mindset with demonstrated experience in building and scaling business through client expansion new engagements and strategic partnerships
  • TheEVP Managing Director must have a proven track record with a demonstrated record of substantial business growth

Role Requirements:

  • Leadership Expertise: Demonstrated ability to lead and inspire diverse teams fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture within the Account Services department
  • Strategic Thinking: Strong strategic and analytical skills with the ability to develop implement and assess strategic plans that align with client objectives and agency goals
  • Client Relationship Management: Proven experience in building and maintaining strong relationships with clients understanding their needs and ensuring high levels of satisfaction and loyalty
  • Financial Acumen: Deep understanding of agency financial practices including budgeting forecasting and financial reporting with a track record of achieving financial targets
  • Communication Skills: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to articulate complex ideas clearly and persuasively to both internal teams and external clients
  • Coaching and Development: Experience in mentoring and developing team members with a focus on enhancing skills and career growth within the organization
  • Adaptability: Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment managing multiple priorities and adapting to changing client needs and market dynamics
  • Industry Knowledge: Comprehensive understanding of the healthcare landscape including trends challenges and regulatory considerations relevant to pharmaceutical communications
  • Problem-Solving Skills: Strong problem-solving abilities with a proactive approach to identifying issues and implementing effective solutions
  • Technology Proficiency: Familiarity with industry-related tools and technologies that enhance account management processes and improve client service delivery

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 20 years of progressive account management experience in advertising and promotions medical communications or client-side product promotions experience is preferred
  • At least 10-15years of experience managing direct reports
  • Experience across multiple products therapeutic categories and client companies
  • Bachelors degree

Salary Range:$270000 - $325000 variable incentive compensation
