Job Summary

SUMMARY: The Intake Specialist serves as the first point of contact for individuals seeking program services conducting participant recruitment intake interviews and entry-level assessments. This position processes and verifies all required documentation maintains accurate records and ensures compliance with grant guidelines.

SPECIFIC JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  1. Serves as the first point of contact for individuals seeking program services
  2. Recruits conducts intakes and enrolls participants.
  3. Conducts entry level assessment for interested participants.
  4. Collects verifies and processes required intake documents including proof of income residency and other grant specific forms.
  5. Coordinates with program staff to refer eligible clients for services assessments and follow-ups
  6. Communicates program services participant responsibilities and confidentiality policies to clients.
  7. Maintains organized and accurate records.
  8. Prepares regular intake and enrollment reports as required by grant.
  9. Ensures all files and documents meet grant audit requirements.
  10. Provides summary reports and evaluation data to Program Manager.
  11. Reports regularly and punctually to assigned work location and notify supervisor or designee of impending absence in a timely manner.
  12. Maintains accurate time & effort reports.
  13. Performs other duties as assigned by the Program Manager.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  1. Bachelors degree in sociology psychology social work or related field.
  2. Experience in working with diverse family education programming.
  3. Strong communication presentation and organizational skills.
  4. Available to work both day and evening events.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  1. Masters degree in sociology psychology social work or related field.
