SUMMARY: The Intake Specialist serves as the first point of contact for individuals seeking program services conducting participant recruitment intake interviews and entry-level assessments. This position processes and verifies all required documentation maintains accurate records and ensures compliance with grant guidelines.
SPECIFIC JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Serves as the first point of contact for individuals seeking program services
- Recruits conducts intakes and enrolls participants.
- Conducts entry level assessment for interested participants.
- Collects verifies and processes required intake documents including proof of income residency and other grant specific forms.
- Coordinates with program staff to refer eligible clients for services assessments and follow-ups
- Communicates program services participant responsibilities and confidentiality policies to clients.
- Maintains organized and accurate records.
- Prepares regular intake and enrollment reports as required by grant.
- Ensures all files and documents meet grant audit requirements.
- Provides summary reports and evaluation data to Program Manager.
- Reports regularly and punctually to assigned work location and notify supervisor or designee of impending absence in a timely manner.
- Maintains accurate time & effort reports.
- Performs other duties as assigned by the Program Manager.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelors degree in sociology psychology social work or related field.
- Experience in working with diverse family education programming.
- Strong communication presentation and organizational skills.
- Available to work both day and evening events.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Masters degree in sociology psychology social work or related field.
