Job Summary

Required Qualifications:

Prior experience teaching or working with children
Committed Christian aligned with the Academys Mission and Statement of Faith actively attending a local church
Commitment to the philosophy of Christian education
Desire and ability to teach children across all grades (preschool through 8th) or in specific grade levels of your choosing
National fingerprint background check on file
Attend annual Substitute Teacher training at WBCA

Preferred Qualifications:

ACSI certification
Bachelors Degree Associates Degree paraprofessional certificate or teaching assistant certificate

Responsibilities and Duties:

Demonstrate ability to work with and relate to students of all ages (preschool - 8th)
Ability and commitment to follow the provided lesson plans
Demonstrate ability to teach children with varied skills and learning styles
Ability to integrate the Christian faith with curriculum instruction discipline and the school community
Demonstrate strong classroom management skills
Guide assist and encourage students in the learning process
Demonstrate flexible teaching style
Understand and follow school policies
