A day in the life as a Main Kitchen Commi Chef:

Start your day with breathtaking mountain views as you head to the lodge. As a Commis Chef in the Main Kitchen youll support daily kitchen operations by keeping your station running smoothly preparing high-quality meals and maintaining clear communication with the Executive Chef and Sous Chef. During breaks enjoy ski-in ski-out access and hit the slopes. After your shift relax and connect with fellow team members who share your passion for the outdoors.

What it takes to be Successful as a Winter Seasonal Main Kitchen Commi Chef:

  • Strong culinary skills and experience in food preparation
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs

The Minimum Requirements to be Considered:

  • Legal authorization to work in the United States
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Previous experience in a line cook or similar culinary role

What youll need to learn in the first 90 days to excel at this job:

  • Kitchen operations and food safety protocols
  • Food preparation techniques
  • Teamwork and communication skills
  • Safety and sanitation standards

Work Schedule & Location:

  • Flexible work schedule including weekends and holidays
  • Located at the base of the Alta Ski Area offering unparalleled ski-in ski-out access
