Job Summary
Join Amazons Legal Department as Corporate Counsel supporting our Worldwide Operations and Robotics this role you will collaborate with technology teams to provide legal guidance on innovative systems and robotics solutions. The position focuses on supporting product development commercial agreements software licensing and intellectual property matters while ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements. This role offers an opportunity to work at the intersection of technology and law helping shape the future of automation and operations.
Key job responsibilities
- Partner with engineering and technology teams to provide legal guidance on product development system implementation and robotics initiatives
- Structure draft and negotiate complex commercial agreements including technology supply chain licensing and deployment contracts
- Assess and advise on legal reputational and compliance risks related to technical architecture and program design
- Provide strategic counsel on intellectual property matters and software licensing
- Develop and implement practical solutions to support business objectives while ensuring legal compliance
- 5 years of legal experience
- Juris Doctor and membership in one state bar or equivalent
- Experience in transactional and technology licensing or equivalent
- Experience of a mix of corporate law firm and in-house work

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $138500/year in our lowest geographic market up to $229000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge skills and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered equity sign-on payments and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package in addition to a full range of medical financial and/or other benefits.
