ABOUT THE ROLE

As a Senior Director of Engineering for our Asset Data Platform you will providetechnicalleadershipand strategic direction for multiple engineeringteamsor product domains.Arctic Wolfs proprietary Asset Data Platform processes billions of events and manages the posture and visibility of millions of assets across all our customers.You willinterfacewill manyapplication teams to ensure that the Asset Data Platformmeets their needs and enablessuccess for multiple products.

You will beaccountable for shaping the long-term technology strategy driving innovation andensuredelivery ofhigh qualitysecure scalable and customer-centricsolutions. The Senior Directorwill partnerwith executive leadership across R&D Product Management Security Services (S2) and other business units to align engineering execution with corporateobjectives. This leaderwillbuild a culture of excellence foster organizational agility and ensure engineering capabilities scale with business growth.

IN THIS ROLE YOULL GET TO:

  • Define and execute multi-year engineering strategies that support corporate vision and growthobjectives.

  • Influence company-wide technology decisions and contribute to enterprise architecture strategy.

  • Drive alignment between engineering priorities and business outcomes through executive-level collaboration.

  • Champion innovation and emerging technologies tomaintaincompetitive advantage.

  • Oversee multiple engineeringteamsor product portfolios ensuring delivery of high-quality solutions.

  • Establish and monitor KPIs for engineering performance quality and velocity across the organization.

  • Develop and mentorpeople leadersand senior technical leaders building a strong leadership bench.

  • Optimizeresource allocation across global teams to meet strategicobjectives.

  • Partner with Finance and HR on workforce planning and organizational design.

  • Ensure engineering execution aligns with regulatory security and compliance standards.

EXPERIENCE:

  • Minimum10years experienceleading large-scale global software engineering organizations.

  • ExtensiveCybersecurity experience and must have experience around building and transforming large scale distributed systems.

  • Extensive experience in managing organizations that deliver and manage SaaS Products especially on AWS.

  • ExtensivePDLC experience aligned with Agile methodologies likeSAFeand leading teams through PI Planning and Agile Release Trains.

  • Strong technical acumen with ability to influence architectural decisions.

  • Exceptional leadership communication and stakeholder management skills.

  • Exhibit a strong analytical mindset approaching problems with structured thinking and data-driven decision-making.

  • Act asa go-getter proactivelyidentifyingopportunities taking initiative and driving results.

  • Show a keen interestinparticipatingin thedesignofalgorithmsand solving computational challenges.

Here are some of the coretechnologieswe use across our Applications teams. You should have experience in one or more of these or similar technologies:

  • Golang

  • AWS

  • Kafka

  • Postgres

  • Git

  • Docker

  • Kubernetes

You have a history of delivering successful projects as well as some lessons learned from failures. Even if youhaventworked withall ofour specific technologies you bring a diverse knowledge base that you use to help the team solve complex technical problems.Youllreceive all the security training you need during our onboarding process and throughadditionaltraining on the job
