2nd SHIFT ACCOUNTING SPECIALIST

Responsibilities:

Compare pick list to sales orders to ensure accuracy (pick list is prepared by truck loader).
Print preliminary manifest final shipping manifest and Bill of Lading.
Communicate with adequate departments about incoming/outgoing loads.
Compare the weight of product being shipped to the scaled weight of the truck to ensure the product on the truck is in the expected weight range.
Keep track of truck seals (manual).
Prepare export documentation.
Establish good working relationships with the USDA and Shipping Department.
Daily weekend (Saturday & Sunday) may be required.
Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

Ability to communicate fluently in English both written and verbally.
Excellent computer skills required.
1-2 years of office experience.
High School degree or equivalent required.
Associate or bachelors Degree in applicable field preferred.
Can perform the functions of the job with or without reasonable accommodation.
