Role Overview

Navitas Healthcare LLC is seeking an experienced Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse for a contract assignment in Neptune NJ. This LDRP unit includes postpartum antepartum labor and nursery care. Nurses may receive labor or postpartum assignments based on unit needs. The ideal candidate is skilled in patient assessment labor management postpartum care and newborn support.

Key Responsibilities

Evaluate patients and assist physicians with patient care
Plan implement and document nursing care based on individualized patient needs
Conduct thorough assessments according to patient condition and diagnosis
Identify patient needs and prioritize care
Develop and coordinate individualized care plans
Perform therapeutic nursing interventions
Manage patient care across the LDRP unit
Document care following standards of practice patient acuity and clinical priorities
Provide evidence-based patient-centered care
Support adoption of nursing innovations and best practices
Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications & Requirements

Education:

Required: ASN
Preferred: BSN

Certifications & Licensure:

Required:
- BLS (AHA)
- NJ State RN License or Compact License
- NRP
Preferred:
- ACLS
- Advanced AWHONN or EFM

Experience:

Required: Minimum 1 year in a related specialty
Preferred: 35 years of relevant experience
