Responsibilities:
As a Registered Nurse/Case Manager at Ovation Hospice you will be responsible for:
- Assessing clients conditions during every visit and keeping meticulous records of your observations.
- Monitoring vital signs including blood pressure temperature and heart rate.
- Administering medications as prescribed by the clients physician.
- Providing wound care and tracking healing progress.
- Educating clients their families and caregivers on proper home health care strategies and procedures.
- Offering palliative care as needed to ensure client comfort.
- Making recommendations for devices or tools that can enhance the clients quality of life.
- Listening to clients and being responsive to their concerns and requests.
Requirements:
To excel in this role you should have:
- An Associates or Bachelors degree in nursing.
- A current and valid nursing license in the state of Colorado.
- Current CPR (American Heart Association) Certification.
- Access to reliable transportation.
- The ability to work both independently and with directions.
- A compassionate and friendly demeanor that fosters trust and comfort.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Excel Outlook and Word for documenting and tracking client care activities.
