We are a district that serves over 6300 students and employs 850 employees in a northwestern suburb of Minneapolis Minnesota. Our district is comprised of one primary school for kindergarten students three elementary schools for grades 1-4 two middle schools for grades 5-8 and one high school for grades 9-12.
Position Overview & Responsibilities
Primarily responsible for directing and overseeing the Health Services program for after-school care programs in the school district. Serves as a liaison between school parents and community in health related matters. Other nurse-related duties as assigned. For more information please see the job description for this position.
Start date: Ferbuary 18 2026 with 2-3 days in January for training/onboarding plus potential for early start.
Contract: Ferbuary 18 2026 - July 2 2026 plus2-3 days in January for training/onboarding; potential for early start.
Schedule: Monday-Friday 8:30-4:30pm (times may vary due to needs of programs.)
Requirements & Qualifications
Requires Associate or Bachelors Degree in Public Health Nursing and R.N. License. School Nurse license preferred.
Wages: $249.55/day to 293.03/day (long-term substitute rate at BA Step 1 or MA Step 1).
Benefits: Fully certified staffwith assignments longer than 30 days are entitled to District Contribution at theFull-time (1.0 FTE)benefit level.Earned Safe and Sick Time (ESST)will be provided as required by law.
