In Wilhelmsen Port Services we provide our customers with peace of mind while we handle their cargo their vessels and their crew. We handle 75000 port calls per year which means that every 7 minutes anywhere around the world we send a ship safely out to sea again to fulfill its purpose. We match local expertise with strict global standards ensuring we consistently make our customers port calls as efficient and safe as possible.
Who we are looking for:
We are looking for a Husbandry Global Agent to effectively deliver services and create added value in the contractual relationship towards our customers by building strong relationships.
What you will work on:
Manage existing portfolio reverting customer requests advising clearing doubts and sharing best experience to support clients and their port calls.
Secure updated contracts and rates are available in the system.
Collaborate closely with operational and administration resources to secure all requirements from the customer are fulfilled in accordance with global operational standards and contract terms in place with the customer.
Collaborate with WPS local agents and WPS sub agents on port call pre-planning to secure proper cost estimates and extend the services offered.
What you bring:
Bachelor degree preferably in Maritime area. Can be compensated with relevant work experience.
Minimum 3 years of operation experience in shipping industry.
Results oriented and ability to set targets.
Fluent in English - both in writing and speaking.
Computer literate.
Good negotiating skills.
Good networking and relation-building skills.
Work experience on board vessels will be considered a plus.
