Job Summary

The Grand Forks County States Attorneys Office is seeking a skilled and motivated Legal Secretary II to provide advanced legal administrative support to prosecutors and office staff. This position requires strong knowledge of legal procedures excellent organizational ability and a high degree of professionalism. The ideal candidate is dependable detail-oriented and committed to supporting the efficient and ethical delivery of justice.

Status and Hours: Full-time Monday - Friday 8:00 am to 5:00 pm benefits eligible. There might be a variation to work hours and days to support the office and County needs. This position is not eligible for teleworking.

Basic Requirements: Associate degree or 2-year post high school education program in Legal Secretarial field and 2-3 years of previous legal experience required.

For employees hired on or after January 12025 you will be enrolled in the Deferred Compensation 2025 plan (DC25) at the rate of 9.26% of your gross salary paid by the County with an option for an additional 3% employee contribution and County match.
