Senior Highway Design Manager

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES

• Developing and reviewing plan sets quantity estimates and reports
• Preparing plans specifications and cost estimates in accordance with IDOT and local agency standards
• Mentoring project staff
• Maintaining project budgets and schedules
• Preforming QA/QC tasks
• Hybrid work 3 days in Darien office required
• Participating in business development opportunities including writing technical proposals scopes of work and developing fee estimates

BACKGROUND & EXPERIENCE EXPECTATIONS:

• Bachelors degree (or higher) in Civil Engineering or similar discipline from an accredited college or university
• Licensed Professional Engineer in the State of Illinois
• Minimum of 10 years of related design and Project Management experience
• Proven ability to lead successful teams internally and externally
• Proven ability to build effective business relationships
• Established and positive industry reputation
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Proficient in MicroStation Geopak and OpenRoads Designer Microsoft Office (Word Excel PowerPoint)

Salary Range: $125000 - $175000. Individual pay will be based on several factors including experience knowledge skills and abilities of the applicant.
