Job Summary
Description
SECURITY SUPERVISOR
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for managing a secure entrance and perimeter for the facility
- Know all of the duties of your immediate staff and the ability to perform them
- Ensure completion and accuracy of reports done by staff
- Complete daily and weekly reports as needed
- Supervise train and evaluate performance of staff; implement disciplinary procedures when necessary
- Resolve employees conflicts and issues promptly and objectively
- Direct communication with company and outside services
- Maintain logs for inbound and outbound trucks
- Attend meetings as scheduled
- Lift up to 50 lbs
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- Previous security experience preferred
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Bilingual preferred
- Computer skills and knowledge
- Attention to detail and ability to multi-task
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast paced work environment
- Ability to work in the weather conditions
- Must be able to work in all weather conditions
- Must be able to work 12 hour shifts
- Can perform the functions of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation
