Job Title: SPED Cross-Categorical Teacher
Location: Aldie VA (20105)
Contract Duration: 31 weeks
Schedule: 8:50 AM 3:40 PM
Pay: $45$50/hr
Job Summary:
Navitas Healthcare LLC is seeking a SPED Cross-Categorical Teacher to provide instruction and support to students with diverse disabilities. The role involves implementing IEPs adapting curriculum supporting general education inclusion monitoring progress and collaborating with staff and families.
Responsibilities:
Deliver instruction aligned with IEP goals.
Develop implement and monitor IEPs.
Adapt lessons and materials for diverse learning needs.
Support students in both pull-out and push-in settings.
Collect data track progress and maintain documentation.
Implement behavior support plans and positive interventions.
Participate in IEP meetings parent conferences and team discussions.
Communicate regularly with families and engage in professional development.
Qualifications:
Experience with students across multiple disability categories.
Knowledge of IEPs special education laws and evidence-based strategies.
Strong communication collaboration and organizational skills.
Bachelors degree in Special Education (required) and valid SPED certification; additional endorsements preferred.
