Point of Care Coordinator
Location: Bradenton FL (34209)
Schedule: Full-Time Days No Weekends
Compensation: $32.62$48.93/hr (based on experience)

Position Summary
Navitas Healthcare LLC is seeking a skilled Point of Care (POC) Coordinator to lead and support point-of-care testing programs across multiple clinical locations. This role ensures regulatory compliance operational efficiency quality assurance and consistent testing standards. The ideal candidate has strong expertise in laboratory operations POC methodologies data interpretation and regulatory practices.
Required Qualifications
Bachelors degree in a biological or chemical science.
Florida Supervisors License required.
Minimum 3 years of relevant experience with strong proficiency in point-of-care concepts and quality assurance.
13 years of clinical laboratory experience involving QA and/or POC testing.
Strong analytical communication and decision-making skills.
Demonstrated ability to interpret data implement corrective actions and maintain regulatory compliance.
Responsibilities
Oversee and support all point-of-care testing activities ensuring compliance with regulatory and organizational standards.
Review proficiency testing QA data and performance metrics; collaborate with facility leaders to implement corrective actions.
Maintain all required documentation for quality assurance compliance and POC testing records.
Apply independent judgment when correlating and interpreting patient test results.
Monitor accreditation and licensure status; assist with documentation for regulatory bodies (CAP CLIA AHCA business licensing etc.).
Partner with regulatory agencies and internal teams to ensure compliance with licensure and renewal requirements.
Prepare annual Quality Control Quality Assurance and Regulatory Compliance programs for the division.
Support division leadership in evaluating operational data and identifying areas for improvement.
Ensure equipment functionality and adherence to maintenance schedules.
Maintain proficiency in information systems and data management related to POC operations.
Safeguard sensitive information and follow all privacy security and safety policies.
Provide departmental support during disaster or emergency operations.
Build strong collaborative relationships across clinical departments to support organizational goals.
