Join a presales architecture team that helps customers harness AI and advanced computing. As a Senior FSA youll design reference architectures for GPUaccelerated compute highperformance storage lowlatency networking and orchestration frameworks that power machine learning deep learning and dataintensive workloads. This is a presales consulting roleyou wont perform handson implementationbut youll work in lockstep with professional services project management managed services account teams and strategic vendor partners to ensure designs are executable and deliver strong outcomes.

What youll do:

Architecture & Strategy

• Lead discovery to translate business outcomes into technical requirements and reference architectures for AI/HPC platforms (GPU clusters distributed training model serving orchestration).
• Design scalable compute using leading GPU technologies; specify lowlatency fabrics (InfiniBand RoCE) and highperformance storage (e.g. NVMe parallel file systems).
• Define security resilience datamanagement and costoptimization patterns; document assumptions and tradeoffs.

Presales Execution

• Build solution designs sizing guidance diagrams and BOMs with clear scope boundaries and delivery alignment.
• Support proposals statements of work and risk identification; ensure feasibility with delivery leadership.
• Present technical content to diverse audiences (engineers to executives) and handle deepdive Q&A.

Customer & Seller Engagement

• Act as a trusted advisor on workload placement performance tuning considerations and modernization paths.
• Partner with account managers to qualify opportunities and position the right mix of products professional services and managed services.
• Partner & Internal Collaboration
• Coordinate architecture validation with key vendors; stay current on roadmaps affecting AI/HPC platform choices.
• Collaborate with professional services and project management so designs are deployable and milestones are clear.

Quality & Reuse

• Contribute reusable assets (templates calculators patterns) and improve architecture quality through peer reviews.
• Advocate for accurate opportunity data and case hygiene to support forecasting and delivery planning.

What we expect of you:

Must-have

• Handson presales architecture experience designing AI/HPC infrastructure: GPUaccelerated compute distributed training model serving highperformance storage and lowlatency networking.
• Strong consulting fundamentals: discovery requirements translation executiveready communication and decision framing.
• Proficiency creating architecture diagrams BOMs sizing and cost/comparison analyses.
• Demonstrated collaboration across delivery program/project management managed services and vendor partners.
• Ability to simplify complexity build stakeholder confidence and drive consensus.

Nice-to-have

• Familiarity with orchestration and scheduling (Kubernetes Slurm PBS); parallel file systems (Lustre BeeGFS); object storage; and benchmarking/performance methods.
• Exposure to MLOps/ModelOps pipelines inference serving RAG infrastructure or dataplatform integration.
• Industry knowledge in research public sector or enterprise analytics use cases.

• Presales consulting focus (no handson implementation).
• Crossfunctional collaboration with delivery teams and strategic vendors to ensure designs are feasible and repeatable.

Occasional travel based on customer and event needs.

Each of our roles is assigned a salary range that is informed by multiple sources of market determineindividual pay within a given range based on a candidates prior experience knowledge skills and abilities. This approach allows us to offer competitive and equitable salaries that reflect the value and responsibilities of each role at CDW. Salaries are based on a 40-hour workweek and paid on a bi-weekly payroll schedule.

Pay range: $ 145 600- $ 203 840 depending on experience and skill set
