Requirements:
- Previous experience in automotive parts or inventory management preferred.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Attention to detail with a commitment to accuracy.
- Basic computer skills for inventory tracking.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- Must be at least 18yr. of age with valid drivers license
- Multitask able to effectively communicate with others oral and written
- Able to understand instructions written estimates & parts orders
- Visual determines accuracy of parts & work assigned to.
- Responsible for ordering parts from preferred vendors keeping vendors held responsible with delivery dates and quality of parts.
- Assisting technicians & estimators in identifying sourcing and purchasing parts for vehicles in a timely manner.
- Check in label and distribute parts to technicians when needed.
- Verify & inspect correctness of parts & quality.
- Post & scan parts invoices
- Track incomplete order status daily (Backorders outstanding orders & credits)
- Pickup & deliver parts as necessary
- Keep workstation & parts room clean & organized
- Perform other duties possibly needed to complete repairs in the body shop with office staff and technicians.
