Job Description SCCM & Intune Engineer (Windows Endpoint Management)
Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled SCCM & Intune Engineer to manage maintain and optimize our endpoint management infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Microsoft SCCM (Configuration Manager) Intune Windows Autopilot and patch management. This role involves designing deploying and supporting enterprise-wide endpoint management solutions while ensuring system security compliance and performance.
Key Responsibilities
SCCM Administration & Support
Manage EUC and server patching including vulnerability remediation across the SCCM estate.
Perform SCCM infrastructure tasks such as Distribution Point (DP) and Management Point (MP) installations console upgrades and client upgrades.
Create and manage collections applications packages and deployments for software distribution.
Handle OS deployment (OSD) and driver management using SCCM task sequences.
Troubleshoot package installation patching and OSD issues by analyzing SCCM log files.
Manage SCCM Current Branch environments (e.g. 2103/2107) and support CMG Windows App Store and third-party updates.
Develop and implement in-place upgrade task sequences (e.g. LTSC to SAC builds).
Support Nomad upgrades boundary/boundary group configurations and SQL reporting for SCCM.
Provide Tier 3 support and guidance to L1/L2 teams for SCCM and endpoint issues.
Intune & Modern Device Management
Design and implement endpoint management solutions using Microsoft Intune including configuration profiles compliance policies and conditional access.
Create and manage Autopilot deployment solutions for Windows 10/11 devices.
Configure and manage device enrollment user policies and RBAC (custom roles).
Deploy LOB/Store applications to Azure AD user groups and monitor deployment status.
Handle feature pack upgrades and Windows update management via Intune.
Troubleshoot Intune-related escalations enrollment and application issues.
Integrate Intune with Power BI for reporting and auditing purposes.
Implement desktop customization policies (e.g. wallpaper configuration) via Intune.
General Administration & Collaboration
Plan and execute monthly patch cycles and compliance reports for both SCCM and Intune devices.
Work closely with AD Azure Security and Networking teams to ensure integrated and secure device management.
Analyze logs and manage security compliance using Azure logs and audit reports.
Provide technical documentation training and knowledge transfer to peers and stakeholders.
Manage incidents problems and change requests through ITSM tools (ServiceNow preferred).
Continuously improve endpoint management processes and develop innovative automation solutions.
Required Skills & Experience
58 years of hands-on experience in SCCM (Configuration Manager) and Microsoft Intune.
Strong knowledge of Windows 10/11 OS deployment and driver management.
Experience with patch management software distribution and compliance reporting.
Good understanding of Azure AD Autopilot and conditional access policies.
Working knowledge of SQL queries for reporting and troubleshooting.
Familiarity with Power BI integration for Intune and SCCM analytics.
Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills across SCCM/Intune/Windows platforms.
Hands-on experience with ITSM tools (ServiceNow).
Preferred Qualifications
Microsoft Certified: Endpoint Administrator Associate (MD-102) or Modern Desktop Administrator Associate (MD-101).
Experience with Windows Update for Business (WUfB) and co-management scenarios.
Knowledge of CMG third-party patching tools and Nomad.
Exposure to Azure Log Analytics and automation via PowerShell.

Ability to work in cross-functional teams and manage multiple priorities.
