Physiatrist

WellSpan Health is expanding our Physiatry services across central Pennsylvania! We are seeking a board certified/board eligible Physiatrist to join our new outpatient practice in Hanover PA. This is an opportunity to become part of a growing physiatry presence in our central region and join an integrated and supportive team across the system!

What you can expect at your practice:

• Scope: Outpatient Physiatry with emphasis on MSK back pain medical joints concussions post-acute follow-up for local patients EMG/NCV minor procedures
• Currently there are no Physiatry services offered in the community of Hanover PA the opportunities are endless
• Join an office suite with Pain Management and Neurosurgery colleagues
• Position is based in Hanover PA near the MD state line - and may include Gettysburg.
• Practice is located in a new building that includes a surgery center
• Epic utilized at all WellSpan locations

Qualifications

Minimum Education:

• Doctor of Medicine (MD) Required or
• Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) Required

Licenses:

• Licensed Medical Physician and Surgeon Upon Hire Required or
• Licensed Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine Upon Hire Required

Courses and Training:

• Diplomate of the American Board of Pediatrics or the American Osteopathic Board of Pediatrics or Board eligible. Upon Hire Required and
• Completion of a Pediatric residency. Upon Hire Required

Knowledge Skills and Abilities:

• Administrative skills.
