The Role:
Care Coordination Assistant help with the presentation of remote patient monitoring to select patients. Performs routine administrative duties in support of assigned area or practice.
The Work:
Performs administrative duties as assigned including information retrieval filing scheduling and data entry.
Ensures that all necessary demographic billing and clinical information is obtained and entered in applicable software applications with timeliness and accuracy.
Verifies insurance benefits and obtains precertification/authorization as necessary.
Maintains equipment and medical supplies including reordering stocking cleaning and troubleshooting.
Maintains office or examination areas as needed.
You Have:
Demonstrates excellent customer service critical thinking skills decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision in a fast paced enviorment.
Background working in a medical environment is essential to success in this position.
One year in a medical setting preferred but willing to train the right candidate.
Knowledge of HIPAA policies and procedures.
Working knowledge of general office duties.
