Were on a mission to grow Rewires business by leaps and bounds and were looking for an Data Engineer to help us reach our goals. Youll have the incredible opportunity to engage in data and AI projects collaborate closely with the client and enable impactful results for our valued clients. Your role is going to be amazing! Youll support the day-to-day execution of transformation projects from a technical angle. This means for example working on technical design and development of data & AI solutions shaping the vision on architecture with our clients and assessing where organizations stand in their data transformation journey. Youll get trained as a technical leader acting on the intersection of business technology data & AI.

Where youll make a difference

• Build robust data & AI infrastructure design and develop the pipelines platforms and systems that power our clients data-driven ambitions

• Advise clients on technical best practices translate business needs into sound engineering decisions bridging the gap between strategy and implementation

• Develop scalable software solutions write clean maintainable code that turns complex requirements into reliable production-ready systems

• Contribute to organizational change implement data & AI innovations supported by GAIN our certified education and training portfolio

• Use technical expertise and communication skills build scalable data & AI solutions that drive value across the organization

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams from both the client and Rewire contribute from day one while learning from experienced leaders

What makes you shine

Youre a motivated problem solver and a curious learner with a passion for turning data & AI into real business impact. Youll thrive with us if you bring:

• A Masters degree with excellent results in a quantitative or STEM field (e.g. Computer Science Artificial Intelligence Aerospace Engineering Mechanical Engineering Econometrics)

• Practical experience through internships projects or research demonstrating your ability to build and maintain data pipelines design scalable systems and deliver reliable production-ready solutions

• A hands-on growth mindset you take ownership of your tasks embrace challenges and contribute to solutions that create real value

• Strong communication skills and a collaborative spirit you enjoy working in teams explaining technical concepts clearly and supporting a positive inclusive work environment

• Sharp analytical and technical skills you excel at both problem-solving and implementing solutions that bridge business and technology

• Fluency in Dutch and English (written and spoken) and willingness to travel regularly to client sites

Where youll work

Most projects require working onsite at client locations across the Netherlands Germany and occasionally other parts of Europe for several days each week.

When not onsite with clients youre warmly welcome to work from our Amsterdam office or from home. Rewires Amsterdam office is more than just a building its a space designed to foster problem-solving collaboration innovation and simply put where we build the future.
