Position Overview
Navitas Healthcare LLC is seeking a professional and patient-focused Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) for a 13-week contract assignment. The ideal candidate will support Physical Therapists in delivering high-quality rehabilitative care implementing treatment plans and helping patients improve mobility strength and overall function.
Responsibilities
Administer therapeutic exercises and interventions under the direction of a Physical Therapist
Assist patients with mobility training strengthening balance and endurance activities
Accurately document patient treatments progress notes and functional outcomes
Collaborate effectively with Physical Therapists nursing staff and interdisciplinary care teams
Maintain a clean safe and supportive treatment environment
Provide weekend support as required (7-day schedule rotation)
Qualifications
Active state Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) license
Strong communication and patient-care skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
