Key Responsibilities:

Build dynamic insight-driven Power BI dashboards with advanced DAX and custom KPIs.
Use Power Query for data transformation cleansing and model preparation.
Apply strong data modeling practices (star schema relationships hierarchies) for scalable reporting.
Write and optimize SQL queries across multiple platforms (SQL Server Snowflake Databricks etc.).
Interpret and troubleshoot Python-based ETL scripts ensuring data quality and consistency.
Implement row-level security (RLS) and manage access through Power BI workspace governance.
Translate business questions into analytical solutions and clear visual storytelling.
Perform exploratory data analysis to uncover trends gaps and ensure data accuracy.

Must-have Skills:

35 years of experience building data visualizations and analyzing business datasets.
Strong experience with Azure.
Proficiency in Portuguese (Plus)
Bachelors degree in Data Analytics Computer Science Engineering Statistics or related field.
Strong command of Power BI including DAX Power Query (M) Data Modeling Row-Level Security (RLS) Bookmarks and Tooltips.
Proficiency in SQL across platforms such as SQL Server PostgreSQL Snowflake and Databricks SQL.
Experience with Python and ETL-related libraries: pandas polars json SQLAlchemy pyodbc arm.
Exposure to Python ETL frameworks or orchestration tools like Airflow DBT AWS Glue Azure Data Factory (ADF) Databricks Workflows etc.
Strong analytical mindset with excellent problem-solving and documentation skills.
Comfortable working in collaborative cross-functional data teams.

Nice-to-have:

AI Tooling Proficiency: Leverage one or more AI tools to optimize and augment day-to-day work including drafting analysis research or process automation. Provide recommendations on effective AI use and identify opportunities to streamline workflows.
