Job Summary

Supports the companys vision and mission statement as indicated in the employee manual and participate in the companys continuous improvement program (LEAN).

ï Works collaboratively with Directors in Santa Maria who have personnel at the Springboro facility to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of the facility as a whole.
ï Ensures that all products are manufactured in a correct cost effective and timely manner in alignment with specifications and quality requirements.
ï Practices continuous improvement of operational systems processes and best practices that foster organizational well-being.
ï Contributes to the achievement of the companys strategic and operational objectives.
ï Champions employee ownership by teaching Open Book Management.
ï Coordinates activities of departments to maximize service conformance to quality requirements and efficiency.
ï Develops policies initiatives and operations changes to be implemented within the manufacturing group.
ï Develops manufacturing/facility capital budget and requests and provides justification for financial analysis.
ï Participates in annual strategic planning meeting and quarterly updates.
ï Plans develops and implements new projects. Manages large projects as required. Supports new product development in terms of raw material procurement pilots process and equipment development.
ï Understands and experienced with P&L statements and ability to act upon them. Contributes to cost savings opportunities.
ï Conducts daily and/or weekly operational meetings with teams to discuss manufacturing schedule non-conforming product process changes personnel and other departmental and company information.
ï Assigns duties and examines work for exactness and conformance to procedures and specifications.
ï Participates in CNP process investigating and presenting findings in weekly meeting for all Ohio NC runs.
ï Initiates and responds to CAPAs as required. Develops and follow-up on preventative measures.
ï Initiates and responds to quality management change requests and plans.
ï Evaluates all assigned employees performances by conducting bi-annual reviews with each employee.
ï Helps develop new products and processes while making continuous improvements to those already in place.
ï Acts a liaison between departments to ensure steady and constant flow of finished product and raw materials.

Assists with various audits:
o FDA audits
o Internal audits
o Customer on-site audits
o Supplier audits

ï Ensures the maintenance department addresses all equipment/facility issues in a timely manner and per SOP.
ï Audits direct reports timecards weekly. Responsible for reviewing time off requests.
