Job Summary

Travel Physical Therapist (PT)

Location: Across the State of New Mexico

Summary

A Travel Physical Therapist is needed to support rehabilitation services statewide. This position involves working in multiple types of settings and requires a clinician who is flexible independent and committed to excellence in patient care.

Responsibilities

  • Evaluate functional impairments and diagnose mobility limitations
  • Create individualized treatment programs
  • Deliver manual therapy therapeutic activities and patient education
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation
  • Communicate effectively with interdisciplinary teams
  • Teach patients and families home exercise routines
  • Ensure high-quality therapy outcomes while traveling between facilities
  • Work across New Mexico as assigned

  • New Mexico PT license (active or eligible)
  • Accredited PT degree (DPT or MSPT)
  • 1 year recent PT experience (OP/acute/SNF/HH/inpatient rehab)
  • AHA BLS certification
  • Ability to float and adjust to new clinical settings quickly

Preferred

  • Multi-setting background
  • Strong communication and time-management
  • Travel assignment experience
  • Spanish-speaking ability
