Travel Physical Therapist (PT)
Location: Across the State of New Mexico
Summary
A Travel Physical Therapist is needed to support rehabilitation services statewide. This position involves working in multiple types of settings and requires a clinician who is flexible independent and committed to excellence in patient care.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate functional impairments and diagnose mobility limitations
- Create individualized treatment programs
- Deliver manual therapy therapeutic activities and patient education
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation
- Communicate effectively with interdisciplinary teams
- Teach patients and families home exercise routines
- Ensure high-quality therapy outcomes while traveling between facilities
- Work across New Mexico as assigned
- New Mexico PT license (active or eligible)
- Accredited PT degree (DPT or MSPT)
- 1 year recent PT experience (OP/acute/SNF/HH/inpatient rehab)
- Ability to float and adjust to new clinical settings quickly
Preferred
- Strong communication and time-management
- Travel assignment experience
