We are a district that serves over 6000 students and employs 725 employees in a northwestern suburb of Minneapolis Minnesota. Our district is comprised of one primary school for kindergarten students three elementary schools for grades 1-4 two middle schools for grades 5-8 and one high school for grades 9-12.

Position Overview & Responsibilities
Responsible for designing and implementing reading interventions supporting literacy development teaching reading to individuals and small groups and modeling and assisting teachers with differentiating reading instruction. For more information please see the job description for this position.

Start date: February 2 2026 with potential for 1-2 days of training/onboarding the last week of January.
FTE: 1.0
Schedule: Monday-Friday 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM

Contract Length:2/2/2026-4/24/2026 with potential for 1-2 days of training/onboarding the last week of January.

Requirements & Qualifications
Bachelors degree in education and required teaching certificate in related area(s) of instruction as required by the State of Minnesota specific content knowledge training or job experience required before appointment and successful student teacher. K-12 reading license required.

Salary & Benefits

Wages: Long-Term Substiute Certified Staff Rate withappropriate Certification from PELSB (including OFP): $249.55/day. $175/day with short-call substitute license only.

Benefits: Fully certified teachers with assignments longer than 30 days are entitled to District Contribution at theFull-time (1.0 FTE)benefit level. No benefits available with short-call substitute license.Earned Safe and Sick Time (ESST)will be provided as required by law for either license type.
