Schedule: 312-hour shifts (07:00 AM 07:00 PM)
Local Pay Range: $45$50/hour

Position Summary

Navitas Healthcare LLC is seeking Operating Room Technicianfor an exciting job in Cooperstown NY.

Responsibilities

Perform scrubbing duties for a variety of surgical procedures following established protocols.
Prepare organize and maintain sterile instrument tables and surgical equipment.
Manage and handle instruments supplies medications media specimens and instrument trays with accuracy and care.
Assist with operating room setup turnover and cleanup before and after procedures.
Work collaboratively with surgeons registered nurses anesthesia providers and other surgical team members.
Maintain strict sterile technique and comply with all infection control and safety standards.
Ensure surgical instruments and equipment are functioning properly and readily available.
Support overall OR workflow and contribute to patient safety and efficiency initiatives.

Qualifications

Previous experience as an Operating Room Technician or Surgical Technologist preferred.
Completion of an accredited Surgical Technology program or equivalent (per state and facility requirements).
Strong knowledge of aseptic technique surgical instrumentation and operating room procedures.
Excellent communication skills and ability to thrive in a fast-paced team-oriented environment.
Highly reliable detail-oriented and able to anticipate the needs of the surgical team.
