Sr. Program Manager, Selling Partner Experience Science

The Selling Partner Experience (SPX) organization strives to make Amazon the best place for Selling Partners to do business. The SPX Science team is building an AI-powered conversational assistant to transform the Selling Partner experience. The Selling Assistant is a trusted partner and a seasoned advisor thats always available to enable our partners to thrive in Amazons stores. It takes away the cognitive load of selling on Amazon by providing a single interface to handle a diverse set of selling needs. The assistant always stays by the sellers side talks to them in their language enables them to capitalize on opportunities and helps them accomplish their business goals with ease. It is powered by the cutting edge of Generative AI going beyond a typical chatbot to provide a powerful personalized experience to sellers running real businesses large and small.

Key job responsibilities
In this role you will be responsible for developing and proposing programs and projects to improve and expand our advanced AI technology and coordinating cross-functional teams to deliver products that will reshape how sellers do business on Amazon Stores. This role requires both business acumen and technical skills engaging ML scientists engineers operational leaders and senior management. We are searching for a passionate Sr. Program Manager who will develop strategies own initiatives and programs that will increase engagements expand capabilities and raise the bar on customer experience to drive the adoption flywheel.

A day in the life
The activities you will lead are highly impactful managing the roadmaps and milestones setting requirements and driving the development schedule owning cross-team project statuses and communicating results to a broad audience brainstorming new project ideas initiating technical deep dives and engaging in problem solving and organizing working sessions proactively to identify and mitigate roadblocks. This is a unique opportunity for qualified individuals to drive the entire life cycle of highly impactful real-world ML applications focused on use of advanced generative AI technology.

About the team
Selling Partner Experience Science (SPeXSci) is a growing team of scientists engineers and product leaders engaged in the research and development of the next generation of ML-driven technology to empower Amazons Selling Partners to succeed. We draw from many science domains from Natural Language Processing to Computer Vision to Optimization to Economics to create solutions that seamlessly and automatically engage with Sellers solve their problems and help them grow. We are focused on building seller facing AI-powered tools using the latest science advancements to empower sellers to drive the growth of their business. We strive to radically simplify the seller experience lowering the cognitive burden of selling on Amazon by making it easy to accomplish critical tasks such as launching new products understanding and complying with Amazons policies and taking actions to grow their business.

- 5 years of program or project management experience
- Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements
- Experience owning program strategy end to end delivery and communicating results to senior leadership

- 5 years of driving process improvements experience
- Masters degree or MBA in business operations human resources adult education organizational development instructional design or related field
- Knowledge of Excel at an intermediate level (e.g. pivot tables & charts multiple criteria lookups nested logical/IF formulas data cleansing array formulas etc.)

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $104100/year in our lowest geographic market up to $185000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge skills and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
