BIRT Solutions Partner Production

You will be responsible for transforming complex datasets into compelling visualizations that enable stakeholders to understand key insights trends and patterns. You will work closely with business stakeholders data engineers data scientists to develop strategic and dynamic dashboards reports and visual presentations that drive decision-making and strategic initiatives.

Function

• You design develop and maintain strategic and interactive dashboards and reports using data visualization tools like Power BI Grafana or similar platforms.
• You create clear insightful and aesthetically pleasing visual representations of complex datasets to help drive decision-making.
• You work closely with business users (mainly with production teams across our business units to bring Industry 4.0 to life) data scientists and analysts to understand requirements and translate them into meaningful visualizations.
• You collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure data accuracy consistency and accessibility.
• Be the trusted partner for internal customers understanding their needs and translating them into impactful BI (business intelligence)/RT (real-time) solutions.
• You understand and analyze business requirements and transform them into action points for Data & Analytics team members.
• You analyze data and identify key insights trends and patterns that can be communicated visually.
• You assist in exploratory data analysis by producing visualizations that provide immediate clarity on large datasets.
• You develop and promote best practices for data visualization ensuring consistency in the look and feel of dashboards and reports across the organization.

Your Profile

• You hold a Bachelors degree in Data Science Information Systems Computer Science Statistics or a related field. A Masters degree or relevant certifications in data visualization or data analysis are considered a strong asset.
• You have 35 years of experience in data visualization business intelligence or related fields with a proven track record of developing impactful visualizations that support and drive business decisions.
• You are proficient in data visualization tools such as Power BI Grafana or similar and you have a solid understanding of SQL for data querying and extraction. You are familiar with data preparation and ETL processes and you possess strong skills in manipulating and analyzing large datasets.
• You can create visually appealing easy-to-understand visualizations and have a strong understanding of UX/UI principles as they apply to data visualization. You are also familiar with color theory typography and general design best practices.
• You have excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to explain complex data in simple clear terms.
• You communicate fluently in Dutch and English.
