Job Summary
If you are an experienced Shipping Clerk looking for an opportunity to grow Emerson has an exciting opportunity for you! Manufacturer of large custom-designed control valves you will work in a dynamic and high-tech production facility based in our Marshalltown Iowa location.
In this Role Your Responsibilities Will Be:
- Coordinate and arrange pickups with Carriers
- Assist with audits and record retention
- Assist with routing shipments in a timely manner
- Arrange urgent shipments
- Work with Customer Service Projects and Nuclear to ensure products ship out on time and correctly
- Use web applications such as Export Log Trax and Flex to manage shipments
- Monitor and reorder Paint Department Inventory
- Run Paint Department monthly reporting

For This Role You Will Need:
- High School diploma or GED required
- 1 yearshipping/logistics experience in a manufacturing environment
- Legal authorization to work in the United States sponsorship will not be provided for this position
Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart:
- Two-year technical degree preferred
- Oracle experience preferred
- Strong organization and planning skills
- Effective communication skills both oral and written
- Strong computer skills including the use of Microsoft Office suite excellent typing and data entry skills
