Job Summary
Are you passionate about helping young minds explore history civics and their future career paths Arkansas Arts Academy is seeking a dynamic and dedicated ElementarySchool Social Studies Teacher to join our team of educators who are committed to student success.
Position Overview:
The ideal candidate will bring social studies to life by engaging students in critical thinking historical inquiry and real-world application with an arts emphasis.
Responsibilities:
- Teach 5th grade social studies aligned with state standards
- Integrate technology and arts project-based learning and community connections
- Foster a positive classroom culture that encourages student participation and growth
- Collaborate with colleagues and families to support student achievement
Qualifications:
- Valid Arkansas Teaching License with appropriate endorsements
- Bachelors degree in Education History or related field
- Experience teachingelementaryschool students (preferred)
- Strong communication and classroom management skills
