Job Description

The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) provides direct resident care and supports nursing staff in delivering high-quality care within a long-term care or rehabilitation setting. This role requires compassion reliability and the ability to work efficiently during extended shifts.

Key Responsibilities

Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) including bathing dressing grooming toileting and feeding
Take and record vital signs input/output and report changes in resident condition to nursing staff
Support residents with mobility transfers and safe ambulation using proper techniques and equipment
Maintain clean and safe resident rooms and work areas
Assist with meal service hydration rounds and nutrition monitoring
Provide emotional support and ensure dignity respect and safety for all residents
Document care activities accurately and timely according to facility standards
Collaborate with nursing staff to ensure coordinated resident-centered care
Perform additional duties as assigned

Requirements

Active CNA license in good standing
Minimum 6 months1 year experience in a nursing home or rehab environment preferred
Ability to work 12.5-hour shifts with a 30-minute meal break
Strong communication teamwork and time-management skills
Ability to lift move and assist residents safely
Professional and dependable work ethic
