Job Summary
Registered Nurse Medical/Surgical
Location: Atlanta GA
Duration: 8 Weeks
Shift: Day Shift (3x12-hour shifts per week)
Pay: $30$42/hour
Position Overview
Navitas Healthcare LLC is seeking an experienced and adaptable Medical/Surgical Registered Nurse to support a high-volume 30-bed unit. Although the unit is structured as a dedicated education environment travel nurses are not required to teach. The primary focus is delivering consistent high-quality patient care. Ideal candidates demonstrate professionalism strong communication and a positive team-focused attitude.
Responsibilities
Deliver safe effective nursing care to a diverse Med/Surg patient population
Collaborate with physicians residents and the interdisciplinary care team
Monitor assess and document patient status including vital signs and clinical changes
Administer medications IV therapies and treatments as ordered
Respond appropriately to emergencies in a fast-paced hospital setting
Maintain accurate timely and compliant documentation
Support unit workflow and contribute to a cohesive team culture
Requirements
Minimum of 2 years of Med/Surg RN experience
Experience in a Level 1 trauma center or medium-to-large hospital preferred
BLS required; ACLS preferred
