The Parts Manager is responsible for ensuring that parts and supplies needed for production are available for team members. To be successful as a Parts Manager you must be highly organized have excellent attention to detail and anticipate the needs of production workers to ensure that all materials needed for production are provided.

- Hire train and monitor the performance of all parts department staff
- Maintain inventory consistent with the requirements of the various departments
- Create pricing guidelines for customer categories
- Monitor and adjust inventory and supervise stock orders
- Guarantee all parts are properly tagged
- Work closely with service manager/body shop manager to ensure timely turnaround of parts
- Provides technical assistance when necessary
- Enforce guidelines for working with customers to ensure maximum customer satisfaction
- Enforce safety requirements
- At least 2 years GM experience in parts management
- Technical automotive knowledge
- Management experience and skills
- Computer literacy and strong communication skills
- Basic understanding of inventory and reporting
- Valid drivers license and willing to submit to pre-employment background check
