Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and innovative Software Engineer to design develop and implement software for advanced automated metrology systems. The ideal candidate will collaborate with mechanical and electrical engineers to ensure seamless integration of systems from initial concept to final production and participating in research and product role involves a wide range of tasks including processing and analysis of large datasets implementing machine learning (ML) and artificial intelligence (AI) algorithms and programming interfaces with complex automated instruments. This role requires strong programming skills in languages like C and Python an understanding of optical and mechanical systems and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams in manufacturing and quality assurance.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS / WORK ENVIRONMENT
The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
For the test debug and maintenance of instruments the employee may be expected to inspect probe wire install and uninstall components which require frequent use of hands and arms standing reaching bending crouching and occasionally lifting/carrying weights up to 25 pounds.
While performing the duties of this job the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision distance vision color vision peripheral vision depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
Work Environment

Salary Range: $95k-135k.
