Job Summary
Impact Health is seeking an experienced Cardiac and Body CT Technologist to join our medical team. This role performs advanced CT imaging with a strong focus on early detection of cardiovascular disease and other chronic conditions. The CT Technologist ensures high-quality image acquisition patient comfort and safety and effective collaboration with our medical staff.

Responsibilities

  • Operate and maintain CT equipment to ensure optimal performance
  • Prepare and position patients for imaging procedures
  • Ensure patient comfort safety and clear communication throughout the exam
  • Acquire high-quality CT images and review for clarity and diagnostic accuracy
  • Apply radiation safety protocols and dose-reduction best practices
  • Collaborate with physicians and clinical staff to support accurate diagnostic evaluations
  • Utilize comprehensive knowledge of anatomy physiology and medical imaging techniques
  • Maintain aseptic technique and adhere to all clinical and safety standards
  • Contribute to a high-quality patient experience in a preventive medicine environment
Requirements
  • Graduate of an allied health education program or accredited radiography school/hospital-based program
  • NY State DOH Licensure or Limited Permit required
  • ARRT registered (RT) and radiograph (R) and/or (CT) certified and/or NMTCB registered (CNMT)
  • Documented training and experience in operating CT equipment and radiation physics and protection
  • Must pass advanced CT examination/certification within 1 year from date of hire
  • Continuously meet continuing education requirements set forth by governing bodies
  • DOH IV certification preferred or completion of a 6-month orientation
  • BLS and ACLS certification required
  • Demonstrates excellent clinical judgment and ability to apply new concepts and skills in invasive cardiology.
  • Shows responsibility for professional development.
  • Prefer prior experience with GE Resolution Apex CT technology.

  • Required to relocate prior to start date
