Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Selenium Automation Quality Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have 4-8 years of experience in designing developing and maintaining automation frameworks and test scripts using Selenium. You will work closely with the development and QA teams to ensure high-quality deliverables and contribute to the continuous improvement of our testing processes.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop enhance and maintain robust scalable and reusable automation test frameworks using Selenium (WebDriver).
Design and execute automated test scripts for web applications APIs and mobile platforms.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (developers product managers and QA) to understand requirements define test strategies and ensure comprehensive coverage.
Perform functional regression integration and end-to-end testing using automation tools.
Analyze test results track defects and ensure their resolution.
Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines for continuous testing.
Identify and implement best practices for test automation to improve efficiency and quality.
Generate detailed test reports and provide regular updates on testing progress and results.
Stay updated with the latest trends tools and technologies in test automation and recommend improvements.

Required Skills & Qualifications:
4-8 years of hands-on experience in Selenium WebDriver for test automation.
Proficiency in programming languages such as Java Python or C# for developing automation scripts.
Strong understanding of testing methodologies (Agile Scrum etc.) SDLC and STLC.
Experience with automation frameworks like TestNG JUnit or Cucumber.
Knowledge of build tools like Maven or Gradle.
Hands-on experience with version control tools like Git.
Experience in API testing using tools like Postman RestAssured or similar.
Familiarity with CI/CD tools like Jenkins GitLab CI/CD or Azure DevOps.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills to collaborate effectively with teams.
Preferred Skills:
Experience in mobile automation using tools like Appium.
Knowledge of cloud-based testing platforms like BrowserStack Sauce Labs etc.
Familiarity with performance testing tools (JMeter LoadRunner) is a plus.
ISTQB or similar testing certification is an advantage.
