We are in needat Shepton Mallet of an ophthalmic HCA for next week Monday to Friday
Key Responsibilities
- Patient Interaction: Greeting patients preparing them for exams and assisting with basic eye assessments.
- Diagnostic Support: Performing vision acuity tests (Snellen charts) understanding refractive errors (myopia hyperopia) and aiding in diagnostic procedures.
- Clinical Assistance: Working alongside surgeons in theatres assisting with laser treatments or helping with cataract/glaucoma care.
- Technical Roles: Can involve contact lens fitting optical dispensing or acting as a patient coordinator.
