About the Role

We are seeking Senior AWS Cloud Engineers (EL1 equivalent) to design deliver and optimise secure scalable and cost-effective cloud solutions across enterprise environments. You will lead cloud transformation initiatives modernise legacy systems and embed best practices for cloud adoption. This role is pivotal in ensuring elasticity security and operational efficiency in a rapidly evolving cloud landscape.

Key responsibilities include:

Designing and implementing AWS cloud architectures that meet security and scalability requirements.
Leading cloud migration and modernisation projects.
Deploying automation and monitoring tools for resilience and repeatability.
Promoting cloud best practices and uplifting internal capability.
Driving continuous improvement and cost optimisation.

The Successful Candidate

To be considered you must:

Be an Australian Citizen with a minimum NV1 security clearance (TSPV highly desirable).
Have 510 years experience delivering AWS solutions for complex projects.
Demonstrate strong technical skills across AWS services cloud architecture and automation frameworks.
Possess excellent organisational and communication skills.

Desirable:

Bachelors degree in Computer Science or Engineering.
Experience managing complex projects.
Familiarity with IaC tools (Terraform CloudFormation) DevOps practices CI/CD pipelines and containerisation (Docker Kubernetes).

Candidates must also be willing to undergo an Organisational Suitability Assessment (OSA) prior to engagement.
