Job Summary
Job Purpose
The Senior Civil Engineer will oversee civil engineering aspects of projects ensuring designs construction works and deliverables meet contractual regulatory and quality standards. The role requires strong technical expertise project coordination skills and experience in supervising civil engineering works.
Key Responsibilities
Design & Technical Oversight
Review and approve civil engineering designs drawings and calculations.
Ensure compliance with project specifications codes and industry standards.
Provide technical guidance to junior engineers and site teams.
Project Supervision & Coordination
Supervise and monitor civil construction activities on-site.
Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams contractors and consultants to achieve project objectives.
Ensure timely completion of tasks and adherence to project schedules.
Quality & Compliance
Conduct site inspections to ensure work meets design and quality standards.
Ensure compliance with MME/UPDA requirements and local regulations.
Implement corrective actions for any deviations or non-conformities.
Documentation & Reporting
Prepare progress reports site instructions and technical documentation.
Maintain accurate records of design changes site observations and approvals.
Support project managers in decision-making with technical insights.
Health Safety & Environment (HSE)
Promote and ensure adherence to safety standards on-site.
Identify potential hazards and recommend preventive measures.
Qualifications & Experience
Education: Bachelor s degree in Civil Engineering.
Licenses & Certifications: MME/UPDA License (Mandatory).
Experience: Minimum of 5 years in a similar senior civil engineering role.
Technical Skills:
Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D and other civil engineering software.
Strong knowledge of construction methodologies materials and standards.
Ability to read and interpret structural and civil drawings.

Education/Experience/Background: High school or GED with the ability to read, write and comprehend English (operational, process, safety and quality instructions) and be able to carry out verbal and written instructions. Six months to two years of experience in a related position with experience in a similar environment preferred with ability to comprehend specifications, blueprints and manuals. Experience using material handling equipment, pressure gauges and precision measuring instruments. Experience using power, pneumatic, hydraulic and hand tools and shop tools such as drill press, band saw, bench grinder, torque wrench preferred. Other Requirements Valid QID Immediate Joining
