Job Summary

We are seeking a professional and customerfocused Front Office / Operator to join our team in Aqaba Jordan. As the first point of contact for our guests you will play a crucial role in ensuring a positive and memorable experience for all visitors to our establishment.

  • Greet and welcome guests in a friendly and professional manner
  • Handle checkin and checkout procedures efficiently
  • Respond to guest inquiries and requests promptly and courteously
  • Manage room reservations and assignments
  • Process payments and handle cash transactions accurately
  • Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance departments to ensure guest satisfaction
  • Assist with concierge services including providing local information and arranging transportation
  • Maintain a clean and organized front desk area
  • Handle guest complaints and resolve issues in a timely manner
  • Perform administrative tasks such as answering phone calls and emails
  • Ensure compliance with hotel policies and procedures

Qualifications :

  • High school diploma or equivalent (required); Bachelors degree in Hospitality Management or related field (preferred)
  • 12 years of experience in hotel front desk or similar customer service role
  • Strong communication skills both verbal and written
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Knowledge of hotel management software (e.g. Opera PMS)
  • Excellent multitasking abilities and attention to detail
  • Strong problemsolving skills and ability to work under pressure
  • Basic accounting and cash handling skills
  • Understanding of hotel operations and guest services
  • Professional appearance and positive attitude
  • Ability to work flexible hours including nights weekends and holidays
  • Fluency in English; knowledge of Arabic or other languages is a plus
