JOB TITLE: A&P Helicopter Mechanic
LOCATION: El Segundo CA
PAY RATE: $40-50/hour

Qualifying Questions:

Summary:

Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on rotorcraft and experimental aircraft
Conduct detailed inspections to verify aircraft systems meet safety regulatory and operational requirements prior to flight
Maintain accurate documentation including maintenance records inspections repairs and reports
Interpret maintenance manuals engineering specifications and technical data to complete repairs and component replacements
Collaborate with technicians pilots engineers and cross-functional teams on maintenance modifications and repairs
Support fleet upgrades and integration of new technologies
Perform additional duties as required to support flight operations and organizational goals

Requirements:

High School Diploma or GED
FAA Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) Certification
5 years of aircraft maintenance experience
Helicopter maintenance experience
Hands-on experience with rotary-wing aircraft specifically R66 and/or R44 (Rolls-Royce engines)
Must be a U.S. Citizen (as defined by ITAR).

Preferred Qualifications:

Trade school or military training in aircraft maintenance
Robinson Maintenance Course completion
FAA Inspection Authorization (IA)
8 years of aircraft maintenance experience
Avionics and wiring experience
