Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Capex actual reports
  • Committed POs and ROs report in order to see the advancement on the projects.
  • Prepayment report related on those projects.
  • Prepare DMC reports.
  • Prepare roll forward report on Capex projects.
  • Business Case Development: Collaborate with project teams to develop comprehensive business cases for CAPEX projects. Assist in defining project scope objectives and key performance indicators (KPIs). Identify and quantify potential benefits costs and risks associated with each project. Present findings and recommendations to management for review and approval.
  • Financial Modeling: Develop and maintain sophisticated financial models to simulate various scenarios evaluate sensitivities and perform what-if analyses. Incorporate key variables such as project timelines inflation rates discount rates and funding options to assess the financial impact and potential outcomes of different investment decisions.
  • Participate in the budget and forecast process by reviewing and analyzing each project teams:
  • Annual capital expenditure project budget
  • Quarterly forecast for projects.
  • Risk Assessment: Identify and evaluate potential risks and uncertainties associated with CAPEX projects.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Collaborate with project managers engineers procurement teams and finance professionals to gather necessary information ensure accuracy of financial data and align financial analysis with project objectives. Work closely with management to understand their strategic goals priorities and financial constraints.

Education and/or Work Experience Requirements:

  • Accounting Certification (CPA or CFA) 2 -5 years
  • Proven experience (2years) in financial analysis inventory analysis or capital expenditure analysis.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
  • Advance Excel Microsoft tool.
  • Effective communication skills in English and French both verbal and written with the ability to present complex financial concepts in a clear and concise manner to stakeholders across Canada and internationally.
  • Detail-oriented mindset with a focus on accuracy and precision in financial analysis.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically and strategically.
  • Ability to perform all work in support of our Corporate Values of Excellence Service Integrity Together.

Security Clearance Requirements/ CGP / ITAR:

Position requires Level II clearance with the Canadian Government and the ability to gain access to the Canadian Controlled Goods Program
