Leading Westchester hospital seek a Nursing Supervisor to provide leadership and support to the nursing staff during the night shift to ensure safe high-quality patient care. Working collaboratively with leadership the Supervisor provides clinical guidance promotes effective communication and helps the unit achieve departmental and organizational goals.
Responsibilities
- Ensure safe evidence-based patient care in alignment with hospital policies regulatory standards and best nursing practices.
- Provide clinical leadership and support including serving as a resource mentoring staff and participating directly in patient care as needed.
- Lead quality and performance improvement initiatives using measurable goals and outcomes to improve clinical practice and unit operations.
- Promote effective interdisciplinary collaboration with physicians staff patients families and other departments to optimize care delivery.
- Maintain a safe care environment ensuring compliance with all regulatory and accreditation requirements.
- Model professionalism and accountability supporting organizational initiatives resolving conflicts and fostering a culture of excellent patient satisfaction.
Qualifications
- Licensed Registered Nurse
- Bachelors Degree in Nursing
- A minimum of 2 years of acute care nursing experience
- Charge experience preferred
