Independent Field Adjuster (1099 Contractor - Nationwide) - SYMBILITY EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

As a 1099 Independent Field Adjuster you will manage your own workload inspect property damages and provide timely fair and accurate claims assessments. If you thrive in a fast-paced self-driven environment and have a passion for field adjusting we want to work with you!

What Youll Do

As an Independent Field Adjuster you will:

Independently investigate evaluate and resolve daily property claims following client and company standards.

Inspect damaged properties assess the loss and prepare estimates using Xactimate and Symbility.

Determine claim-related damage confirm policy coverage and make recommendations accordingly.

Set and manage reserves per carrier guidelines.

Maintain up-to-date knowledge of insurance policies repair procedures and market pricing.

Submit reports on severe incidents insured-to-value (ITV) findings and other necessary documentation.

Deliver exceptional customer service ensuring professionalism in all communications.

Manage your own schedule assignments and client expectations while meeting industry service standards.

Who You Are

To succeed as an Independent Field Adjuster you should:

Hold a valid property adjuster license for your state of operation.

Have at least 2-3 years of experience handling property claims.

MUST Be proficient in Symbility estimating software.

Have strong investigative analytical and problem-solving skills.

Maintain general construction knowledge to assess damages accurately.

Own or have access to necessary equipment (ladder safety gear measuring tools etc.).

Have a valid drivers license and ability to travel as needed.

Be physically capable of climbing ladders entering attics/crawlspaces and working on roofs.

Maintain professional liability insurance if required.

Have strong time management skills to handle multiple claims efficiently.

Demonstrate excellent communication and customer service.

This is a 1099 Independent Contractor role not an employment offer. Independent adjusters must operate as their own business and meet all state and federal guidelines for independent contracting.

Required Skills:

Who You Are To thrive in this 1099 Independent Desk Adjuster role you must: Have at least 3 years of property claims handling experience. Be proficient in Xactimate and Symbility for estimate evaluations. Hold a valid property adjuster license in your state of operation. Work independently exercising sound judgment in claim resolutions. Have strong written communication skills for policy interpretation and reporting. Be organized and able to manage multiple claims efficiently. Have excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities. Possess strong customer service skills to handle inquiries professionally. Be tech-savvy with experience in MS Office (Word Excel Outlook) and claims management systems.
